Yay, we tried Munchy Donuts over the weekend. They actually opened a new outlet at Causeway point! Go try them out, especially the Oreo donut. Its sinfully nice. I felt that they were better than Dunkin' Donuts, but Donut Factory is still the best! And then, while we were queuing, we saw junne!

Honeymoon period.

Was reading a friend's blog just now, exclaiming how she was flooded with happiness whenever she sees her bf, even though it was already way pass their honeymoon period. By saying honeymoon period, it USUALLY only lasts 4 to 6 months.

They were together for 9 months now.

I agreed with the honeymoon period shit. During my previous relationship(s), it indeed was quarrels after quarrels when we were going into the 4th or 5th month. Sigh. I used to wonder if its just mi?

I know, tolerance and patience in mi is just like limited-edition toys. Which means, they don't come by very often. Ask Bee, you will be amazed. I can get angry just watching TV. Haha.

Anyhow, we have been together for more than a year now. And I felt like its still our honeymoon period. I know Bee put in alot of effort for mi.

I'm a happy girl. :)

So, Bee and I managed to catch Harry Potter this week. Hmm, not really what I've expected though. The trailer looks so exciting, but I felt the movie was quite.. flat. Had to check at Bee several times to see if he is awake. Haa.

Emma Watson is really pretty, such an eye candy. But I couldn't say the same for Katie Leung ( Cho Chang)..... why can't the producers find a better cast! *grumbles*

Anyhow, not my favourite sequel. Transformers still ROCKS! Woooo.

I'm sorry but Live Earth must be the most ironic campaign I have ever seen. I believe everybody knows what Live Earth is about right? Channel 5 basically stopped showing anything for 24hrs, except the concert.

Frankly speaking, me and Bee were quite bored most of the time watching the concert. I never thought that watching "The Core" and "Ugly Betty" can have such a blissful feeling. Ha. And did you guys see the aftermath of the concert?? There were millions of plastic bottles on the floor! These bottles didnt even made it to the rubbish bin, much less the recycle bin. It really makes us wonder wads the purpose of the concert again? Apparently the message wasnt being brought across to these ignorant people.

Also, not forgetting how many performers actually flew home in their private jets after the concert. Aren't we suppose to conserve energy?? How ironic is that.

So much money, so little value.

Ok, bad things aside, you guys should really check out the short films from the website. Really well done and meaningful. =)

Busy busy busy week - up coming pitches again. Seems like I'm the mock-up machine of A8, just doing mock-ups after mock-ups. Sigh. Spare me some brain cells please.

I dislike the fact that people actually expects me to take over my senior's job scope. Time, I need time! I can't adapt to the new/additional job scope with just a snap of your finger! And don't tell me to come out of my young girl's shell, time to learn to be mature, and accept things.

Personally I feel that I'm too matured for my age already. I'm only freaking 22 and I'm working like 25!!!! This is not a good sign. How can I be a senior designer at 22, with just 1 year of experience?!

Not trying the shake off the responsibilty here okay, just feeling afraid. Afraid that I'm never good enough. I want to learn, and I don't mind taking on new things. All I need is just a little bit of time.

I'm still pondering if I should change my blog platform, I haven decided yet. I know I know, I'm pretty fickle minded. :(

Anyway just a short update:-

So, finally the day has come, Twain left last month and Kristen left A8 last friday. Sigh. I'm really sad to see the team go, but I know I should feel happy for them. A change of view, surrounding and maybe better prospects? All the best guys.. I will miss the design team badly.

Even on the last day Kristen still gave us a treat at the Wong San's SIX restaurant. Hehe. The food was really good. We had fun just talking cock. Thanks!

Oh, and I had my lasik surgery done on the 10th of April 2007! Really glad that I spent the money and went through the pain. Haha. It was a good but yet scary experience... and expensive too. Hmm. Well, I can assure you, it is worth the 3.9K.

Other than that, nothing much had happened. Just have been really busy with mockup and pitches.

And yeah, Happy Mother's Day to all mummies! :)

Time for another long awaited movie review!! <:D sorry bb for the delay. So here goes --

"Teenage mutant ninja turtles~.. teenage mutant ninja turtles.. heroes in a half shell.. turtle power! "
I can't believe the theme song didn't even make it into the movie. But i guess they're going into the 'cool' era n less of the cheesy stuff is supposedly better i think. Well kids nowadays will probably not appreciate those silly theme songs anyway.

The movie, felt more like a 1 n a half hour long episode instead of a feature film. The story wasn't really as captivating as i hoped it would be. Not enough to keep u on the edge of your seat, but not bad enough to put u to sleep. Think i went into the cinema with too high an expectation.. lol. How could u not when the posters n trailer was so neatly done?! Blame advertising ;P

Anyway, enough ranting about it for now, to throw in some plus points, the action stuff in there is really good for a 3D feature. That i have to admit, was really inspiring to watch. The talking stuff? Not so much to brag about as it seems really like its done by a group of people who don't speak a lot of english. (which might also explain the awesome fighting scenes somewhat similar to Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee choreography coming from the land of HK) Zhang Ziyi's voice over for one of the characters was funny too but somehow it works cuz the character's japanese -.-

Designs of the turtles in 3D looks great in my opinion. Not for all the characters though.

All in all, i would say go watch it, but not really for a second time.

I think I've changed... DRASTICALLY, over the years. I think I'm more picky now, when it comes to the things and people around me. I cant seem to stop nit picking! Like how a person eats, how a person stands, how a person speaks. These small little things can really triggers me off.

How come I don't remembered myself as a person who likes to complain about EVERYTHING?? Somehow, some things will always piss me off everyday... be it a client(think Citibank), the boss or even myself.

I'm really scared that I will eventually turn into a person who can't get along with anybody else!! Help!! There are times where I would even be mad at my besties, thinking that they are weird/insensitive/boastful/etc. And that I don't understand them at all. Sigh.

Am I being overly sensitive??? I dunno, somebody please enlighten me. But.... I HATE INSENSITIVE people. Even though I can be also be too straight forward and say the wrong things sometimes.. hmmm.

And did I mention I hate CITIBANK?! They drive me nuts I tell you! ROAR!!! These people who are supposedly smart enough to work in a freaking bank CANOT follow instructions!!! They never ever understand what are "RULES and REGULATIONS"! Protoccol??? Forget it man.

I am breathing fire again at this point in time. Roars. Please excuse my nonsensical blabberings. Yes Bee, you are right. I am more temperamental now. I hope I'm not experiencing menopause at this age.

Refurnishing & Prison Break.

Yeah yeah yeah! After sleeping in the same old boring, clutered and messy room for the past 4 years or so.... I gave my darling bedroom a makeover!

It feels good to come back to a nice, clean room. Hehe. Too bad my phone's camera is lousy.. hmm. =(

That's my new wardrobe. I even bought new hangers for it okay!! Unfortunately wasn't able to get any pink ones. Now all my clothes are sorted out nicely. :) Unlike the old cupboard, everything just tumbles down everytime I open it.

See! My design books are all standing in a straight row too! (usually they are all lying down) I'm really glad that I've decided to change all the furniture in my room, now it feels so fresh everytime I walk in. *happy* And of cos thanks to my mummy who painted the walls and Bee who helped to rearrange my wardrobe (I know you almost died doing it, hah).

Anyhows, I'm really tired these few days... cause I stayed up late to watch Prison Break!! It's season 1 though. I wanna catch up on the story fast so I can watch and understand Season 2 concurrently. Jiayou!

Selfish Singaporeans?

I think generally Singaporeans are very selfish and inconsider and at the same time kiasu people, something which I don't and will never understand. Is this how all Singaporeans are being brought up? So you call this the Singaporean culture?

I'm embarassed.

Take for example, I was taking 851 to work that day. And those freaking passengers just refused to bulge!! By the way, the photo was taken by me at the END of the bus. I'm the ONLY ONE standing there okay, while the two ladies just hog the exit spot. FYI, the front of the bus was so crowded that it reached the FRONT DOOR.

Hmm, makes me wonder if these things happen in other countries too? Well, for all I know, at least Thai people doesn't board the train before the passengers alight. They will just queue up beside the doors in 2 neat lines. Can you believe it? This happens in Thailand okay.

Look at what always happens at the MRT stations in Singapore, especially during the peak hours. WTF man. I think we Singaporeans should really stop and take a look at ourselves.

Hello! I'm now officially a partner of this blog :D woohoo!

So i caught 300 over the weekend with BB. Was an awesome show in our opinion. The art direction was great, really beautiful shots n nice choreography of the battle scenes. Apparently, BB couldn't stop talking abt the movie with her colleagues... haha. But who could fault her, the movie is nice wad.

I love the part where the main character, the King of Sparta (forgot the name) was asking the ally soldiers what their professions were n then when he turned to ask his own troops.. " Spartans, what is your profession?!" They all echoed their battlecry in unison "AhWoo, AhWoo, AhWoo" Watch it in a cinema with good sound system n the effect is awesome!

Other than that, lots of memorable scenes but i shall stop spoiling it here.... ok one more....
The villian character by the name of 'Zerg something' looks like an Ah Gua. wahaha dam funny!

Do yourself a favor n go watch it. Definitely lived up to the hype.

Besides watching the movie, we also did a fair bit of shopping, almost creating a 300 of our own.. spending $300 that is ;) BB bought some cute looking clothes while i bought another pair of shoes. Nice. BB also treated me to dinner at Pepper Lunch but best of all, I got a watch for a gift :D Sweeeeeet. Cuz my old watch stinks.. literally. lol

Have you heard about the 100 chairs charity event? Where by there will be 100 naked/plain chairs for volunteery artistes to paint on. And the public can bid/adopt the chair at an amount of money, all proceeds will go to the Singapore Children's Society.

Ok, it appears that Sam wanted to something for the needy.. a very good thing indeed. So he bought the chair package @ $350, where the artistes can paint according to OUR idea/concept/theme.

And guess what did we get.

ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! WTF MAN! IT'S LIKE THE UGLIST CHAIR IN THE WHOLE BATCH CAN! I AM SOOOO ANGRY!

Went swimming today again, I don't know if I should make it a routine. Swimming makes mi tanned, which is a bad thing, cause my make up will be too fair for mi. Damn. But then again, i enjoy swimming so much! Hmmm.. girls are very complicated and contradicting creatures.

Weekend is here and over again. Did some baking with Bee on Saturday, hehe. =)

Its some butter cookies called "Melting Moments". See the big, fat and ugly square piece in the middle? Thats done by Bee. I think it looks like some uber fat potato chip. Lol. Needless to say, the more pretty ones are done by mi! Wahaha.

Ok la, the cookies are not that great visually. But they taste quite good! I'm surprised. Thanks to Sweet Decadenze's recipe. =)

We went to the Sexpo just now. Personally I think its damn boring lor, waste our money. Even their speakers were quite boring, yawns. Was really disappointed. They have several booths selling neon coloured dildo/vibrator, which I tink was quite a turn off. And not to mention that the girls there are not pretty, nor sexy. =(

The only place packed with people is the body arts section. There's even police there, I tink to prevent the models from getting grope. Hehe. But also canot see anything lor! Cuz they are not facing the crowd. Double yawns.

Was watching the 9pm drama on Ch 8 with my family and Bee just now. Edmund Chen played the unfaithful husband of Ivy Lee, who cheated ALL her money, and ran off with another woman! ROAR!

Was telling Bee that he must be having an affair at the start of the show (today is only 2nd episode), but Bee doesnt believe mi. HA! In the end I was RIGHT!! And I was telling him about the horrible things I would do if I'm the wife...

I will go online and find some forbidden/illegal medcine to spike his food. And eventually he cant get his dick erected, thus not being able to fuck the other woman. Then I will make him divorce me, and I will tell the judge I'm emotionally and financially unstable, so I would be able to get his money and his house! However, in turn he will get the baby's custody. *sulks* But nevermind! I cant handle babies anyway.

In the end, this is a summary of what he will have:
- No money
- No house
- No woman
- No balls (Cuz they have bursted from taking too much of the medicine)
- A kid

I hate pessimistic people, I really do. I just felt that they have the ability to drain energy off everybody around them. And it sucks.

I've been reading this anonymous blog recently and the more I read it, the more angry I get. How can anybody be so constantly depressed?? Its not like he/she lost a leg or two. Its not like he/she cant hear, or cant see, or lying on the hospital bed just waiting to die.

There's so many people out there fighting for a chance to live and here this person is, hiding away from reality. Or should I say trying to gain sympathy? I dunno.

Maybe he/she should swap places with those terminal cancer patients, who had a life, kids and family to take care of.

Finally got my own blades, got them at Royal Sporting House. Not very expensive, not very pro blades, but im contented, for an amateur like mi. =) Now we can go blading every saturday weekend! Im gonna get so tanned again.

Do you guys know about the Uzumaki Ice-cream at Bugis? Its really not bad! Tried the green tea flavoured one yesterday, with Bee and his campmates (cool bunch of pple). Yay! Finally got to try the big eye contact lenses, pretty cool! Im surprised that they have it at my degree... which is like way higher than most normal people. And yes, I will go blind very soon. Anyway, its freaking expensive can! 1 monthly pair at $25. =( Priscilla bought hers at $40 for a year!! godamnit. so cheap. The misery of a soon-to-be-blind girl. Boooooooooooooo.

When you are around, trying your best to be always for him, they take you for granted. Telling you things like "Oh, you dont have to do this!" or "Its not neccessary!". And once you are gone they start complaining, begging for your attention.

When you want to talk to him, he is ALWAYS busy. Then you think to yourself "What the heck, I shall do my own things then." and feeling a little sad at the same time that he's too busy to talk. Over time, talking little becomes a norm, he started ordering you to talk to him. Then you think to yourself again "What is wrong with him?!".

Anyway, how come all the sex scandals come from NYP??? The last time was the Susan Chua lecturer-student affair. And now this. NYP no reputation already. Sigh. But i really pitied the victim though. The culprit should really go bang wall n die.

It would be so sick if this happens at my job interview:

"So where did you finished your diploma?"

"Oh, your school having a major scandal now right?"
